Venom 3

Venom 3 is an upcoming American superhero film featuring the Marvel Comicscharacter Venom, produced by Columbia Pictures in association with Marvel, and distributed by Sony Pictures Releasing. It is intended to be the sixth film in Sony's Spider-Man Universe (SSU) and the sequel to Venom (2018) and Venom: Let There Be Carnage (2021). The film is being written, co-produced, and directed by Kelly Marcelfrom a story she wrote with Tom Hardy, who reprises his roles as Eddie Brock and Venom and also serves as a producer.

Hardy revealed in August 2018 that he was signed on to appear in a third Venom film, and development had begun by December 2021, after the second film was released. Marcel and Hardy were writing the script by June 2022, and Marcel was set to direct that October, making the film her feature film directorial debut. Filming began in late June 2023 in Spain but was halted the next month due to the 2023 SAG-AFTRA strike. Filming resumed in November following the strike's conclusion and is also expected to occur in London.

Venom 3 is scheduled to be released in the United States on November 8, 2024.
